Is your program faith-based since it is located at a church?
No, our program is not faith-based. While we operate within a church facility, Forrest Ranger Early Learning & Childcare is a secular program focused on early childhood education, play-based learning, and child development. We welcome families of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Are your staff trained in first aid and CPR?
Yes, all staff members are certified in Standard First Aid and CPR.
How do you ensure children’s safety indoors and outdoors?
We adhere to strict safety protocols, including:
Regular facility inspections
Age-appropriate child-to-staff ratios as mandated by Alberta regulations
Secure entry systems
Continuous supervision by qualified staff
What are your illness policies?
To ensure the health of all children and staff, we ask that children exhibiting symptoms of illness (e.g., fever, vomiting, diarrhea) remain at home. If a child becomes ill during the day, we will contact parents/guardians to arrange prompt pickup. For detailed guidelines, please refer to our health policy.
Do you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. We work closely with parents to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions. Please inform us during enrollment so we can make necessary arrangements.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, we provide a nutritious meals and morning and afternoon snacks, prepared in accordance with Canada's Food Guide.
How much outdoor playtime do children get?
Weather permitting, children have scheduled outdoor playtime twice daily. Approximately 1.5 hours Per Day.
What does a typical day look like at Forrest Ranger Early Learning & Childcare?
A typical day includes a mix of structured activities and free play, encompassing:

What are your tuition rates and payment options?
Tuition rates vary based on the child's age and program. Payments are processed through Brightwheel, a secure childcare management app that allows parents to easily make payments, track invoices, and receive payment reminders. Do you provide part-time or drop-in care?
We provide full-time care only. Drop-in care is available on a limited basis, depending on availability. Please contact us at 403-869-4690 to inquire about drop-in options.
Are you licensed?
Yes, we are fully licensed under Alberta's Early Learning and Child Care Act and adhere to all provincial regulations.
We accept children aged 12 months to 5 years.
What are your hours of operation? Our daycare operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday. And 7:30 am to 4:30 pm this ensures that our Ranger Guides have time to clean and reset for the following week.

We are located at 2820 18 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB T1H 5K1.
We are hoping for 56 children. With room sizes of 10-20 while adhering to staff-to-child ratios.
